शिकाराः ध अनटोल्ड स्टोरी ओफ कश्मीरी पंडीत्स

‘हम आएंगे अपने वतन हाजी साहब…और यहीं पे दिल लगाएंगे, यहीं पे मरेंगे…और यहीं के पानी में हमारी राख बहाई जाएगी।’

ये सिर्फ डाइलोग नहीं, कश्मीरी पंडीतो की जिंदगी है जो शायद फिल्म “शिकारा” बयां कर पाये!

राहुल पंडीताः ये नाम शायद कुछ लोगोने सुना हो। ये जनाब पत्रकार है और बहुत अच्छे लेखक भी, लेकीन वह है कश्मीरी पंडीत जिन्होंने १९९०में हुए वो खौफनाक मंझर को देखा है।

उनकी किताब Our Moon has Blood Clots को पढीए तो पता लगे की क्या गुजरी है उन लोगो पर जो कभी इस धरती के स्वर्ग पे रहते थे, वहीं के निवासी थे सदीयो से!

विधु विनोद चोपरा (जो खुद कश्मीर के है) बेमिसाल डायरेक्टर है उन्होंने राहुल पंडीता के साथ मिलकर १९९० के उस घटनाक्रम पर फिल्म बनाने की हिंमत की। और मानना पडेगा की विधु विनोद चोपराजीने कश्मीर के ही दो कलाकार को लिड रोल में लिया है। आदील खान और शादिआ “शिव कुमार धर” और “शांति धर” के पात्र को कम से कम ट्रेलर में तो जी गये है।

फिल्म में बेकग्राउंड स्कोर ए. आर. रहमान का है।

भारत बिन सांप्रदायिक देश है. पर उसे बिन सांप्रदायिक रखने का दायित्व सिर्फ “हिन्दु” का नहीं है। सभी कोम के लोग भारत को मजबूती प्रदान करे और दूसरी कोम को सुख शांति से जिने दे। किसी से उसका मजहब या  धर्म छिनना इश्वर या अल्लाहने कभी नहीं कहा!

मूवी यकीनन बहुत बढीया होगी पर बोक्स ओफीस पर सुपरहीट नहीं होगी, क्योंकी हमे सिर्फ अच्छे काम करे उनके लिए तालीयां बजानी होती है, अच्छे काम करने से चूक जाते हैं।

SHIKARA :  The untold story of Kashmir Pandits.

On 19^th January 2020, Kashmir saw its 30^th painful years of Kashmiri Pandit exodus. 4 Lakh people were overnight refugee in their own country.  Nobody in the bollywood dare to highlight or showcase this sensitive issue on the screen. Kudos to Vidhu Vinod Chopra (born and grew in Srinagar) who took up untouched subject and brought in front of us.  He and his mother had to leave Kashmir during 1990 exodus of Kashmiri Pandits. 

Vidhu Vinod Chopra has gifted Bollywood with beautiful films like Parinda, Mission Kashmir and 1942 A Love story. In this movie, on screen couple Aadil Khan and Sadia hails from Kashmir and are cast in the movie to bring authenticity but real hero is going to be script and cinematography. Background score is by A R Rahman.  

Vidhu has entangled love story in the exodus background.. It will be interesting to see how he balances love story in horrifying background. Maniratnam is the master of such stories. Who can forget beautiful love story of Shekhar and Shaila Banu  during Bombay riots after Babri Masjid demolition in the movie BOMBAY. Not to forget his first installment ROJA and final installment Dil se  in Maniratnam’s  thematic trilogy.

Movie is not marketed well and hence it will face tough challenge to reach masses. Considering sensitive subject it will be real hard task for producers to get profit. But some movies are produced and directed for self-satisfaction and not for money oriented business. Shikara is one of them.

આ ફક્ત “શિકારા” ફિલ્મનો સંવાદ નથી, પણ લાખો કાશ્મીરી પંડીતોની જિંદગી છે જે કદાચ “શિકારા” આપણને મહેસૂસ કરાવી શકે.

રાહુલ પંડીતા લગભગ મોટા ભાગના લોકો માટે અજાણ્યુ નામ હશે. તેઓ પત્રકાર અને ઉમદા લેખક છે. પણ તેઓ એ કશ્મીરી પંડીતોમાંના એક છે જેમણૅ ૧૯૯૦નો એ હ્ર્દય દ્રાવક કરપીંણ ખેલ જોયો હતો.  તેમના પુસ્તક “Our Moon has Blood Clots”ને વાંચો તો ખબર પડે કે ધરતી પરના સ્વર્ગના રહેવાસીઓ જે સદીઓથી ત્યાં રહેતા હતાં તેમના પર શું યાતનાઓ વિતી હતી.

વિધુ વિનોદ ચોપરા જેઓ ખુદ કશ્મીરી છે એમણે રાહુલ પંડીતા સાથે હાથ મિલાવી આ બહુ જ સંવેદનશીલ વિષય પર ફિલ્મ બનાવવાની હિંમત કરી છે. માનવું પડશે કે તેમણે બે કશ્મીરી એક્ટરને જ લીડ રોલ માટે પસંદ કર્યાં. આદિલ ખાન અને શાદિઆ “શિવ કુમાર ધર” અને “શાંતિ ધર” બન્યા છે. તેઓ ટ્રેલરમાં પોતાના રોલને જીવી ગયા હોય તેવું લાગે છે.

ફિલ્મનું બેક્ગ્રાઉંડ સંગીત એ.આર.રહેમાને આપ્યું છે.

ભારત એક બિનસાંપ્રદાયિક દેશ છે. પણ તેને બિન સાંપ્રદાયિક રાખવાની જવાબદારી ફક્ત “હિન્દુ”ઓની નથી. બધી જ કોમના લોકોએ ભારતને મજબૂતી પ્રદાન કરવી જોઈએ અને બીજી કોમને સુખ-શાંતિથી જીવવા દેવી જોઈએ. કોઈનાથી એનો મઝહબ કે ધર્મ છિનવવાનું ઇશ્વરે કે અલ્લાહએ ક્યારેય નથી કહ્યું!

ફિલ્મ ખરેખર જબરદસ્ત હશે પણ સુપરહિટ નહીં જાય, કારણકે આપણે સારી બાબતોને વધાવીએ છીએ પણ તેને કરવામાં મોળા પડીએ છીએ.

MOVIE PREVIEW - PANGA

Panga - In our country, we need powerful director to portray women as a protagonist. Unfortunately hardly there are Male directors which I can recall. Recently many female directors have given women centric movies. PANGA is one of them directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari who earlier won best director award for her debut movie NIL BATTEY SANNATA which I still considered as one of the most underrated movie in the bollywood. She won best director for her second movie too ( Bareli ki Barfi). Panga revolves around Kangana who is now mother to a child and has shattered her dreams under social responsibility and family. She gets support from family to continue his passion of Kabbadi. There starts real challenge for her. At the age of 32, she has to compete with younger players who are far fitter and athletic. Will her comeback be as successful as her earlier career? Film promo shows minute detailings of day to day life of a middle class person and that is going to be strength of the movie. People would obviously connect themselves to the movie. Kangana's performance would be of top class and may she might walk away with many awards for her role of Jaya. Be ready for high level emotions, controlled drama, light hearted comedy and a wonderful movie PANGA.

અશ્વીની ઐય્યર તિવારી – નામ હી કાફી હૈ! કદાચ આ નામ પડશે એટલે લોકો એમની ફિલ્મ જોવાની રાહ જોશે એ તો નક્કી!

નિલ બટે સન્નાટાથી તેમણે સન્નાટો ચિરીને શરુઆત કરી અને પછી “બરેલી કી બર્ફી” જેવી મસ્ત મજાની મુવી આપી. આ વખતે ધાકડ કંગના રાણાવતને લઈને તેઓ એક જબરદસ્ત મુવી લઈને આવી ગયા છે. જો તમે ટ્રેલરના જોયું હોય તો હાલ જ જોઈ કાઢો.

એક કબડ્ડી પ્લેયરના રોલમાં કંગના એકદમ ફિટ લાગે છે. લગ્ન બાદ અને એક દિકરાની મા બન્યા બાદ, ફરીથી એ કબડ્ડીના મેદાનમાં “પંગો” લેવા ઉતરશે એટલે “જોવા જેવી” તો થશે જ. કંગનાના પતિના રોલમાં જસ્સી ગીલને જોવો ગમે એવો છે. યજ્ઞ ભસીનએ કંગનાના દીકરાનો રોલ કર્યો છે. આ સિવાય નિના ગુપ્તા અને રિચા ચડ્ઢા પણ જોવા મળશે. શંકર-એહસાન-લોયનું સંગીત છે.

તો જોઈ કાઢો પંગા આ વખતે.

MOVIE PREVIEW - STREET DANCER 3D

Director Remo is back with his core segment after giving back to back flops like The Flying Jatt and Race 3 (one of the greatest debacle in bollywood). Apart from Dance, Remo brings us angle of patriotism by showing Dance competition amongst India Vs Pakistan. India is led by Varun whereas Shraddha leads Pakistan. Both teams are supported by professional dancers like Dharmesh Sir, Puneet, Salmaan, Vartika and so on. Earlier movie was titled as ABCD-3 but due to exit of Disney, T series roped  in and ultimately name Street Dancer was finalized. Varun and Shraddha have shown their dancing talent in ABCD 2 which was liked by people. By adding flavour of patriotism and releasing on Republic day, Producers have already smelled success. I don't think there will be anything new to offer in terms of 3D but yes in dance moves and styles we will definitely see some extra ordinary performances. This will be a good one time watch family entertainer.

“ભોલી સુરત દિલ કે ખોટે…. નામ બડે ઔર દર્શન છોટે…દર્શન છોટે!” 

ભગવાન દાદા આ ગીત પર ડાંસ કરતા અને તેમના સ્ટેપ્સ ટ્રેડમાર્ક બન્યા. ત્યાર બાદ જિતેન્દ્રએ ડાન્સમાં પકડ જમાવી. મિથુન, ગોવીંદા, પ્રભુદેવા આ બધાં હિરો લોગના ડાન્સ જોવા લોકો ખાસ થિયેટરમાં જતા. હ્રિતીક અને ટાઇગર શ્રોફે પોતાના ડાંસ સ્ટેપથી લોકોને મંત્ર મુગ્ધ કર્યા છે.

હેલન, અરુણા ઇરાની, વૈજયંતી માલા, મુમતાઝ, રેખા, હેમા માલિની, શ્રીદેવી, માધુરી, મિનાક્ષી શેષાદ્રી, ઐશ્વર્યા રાય વગેરે નાયિકાઓએ બોલીવુડને પોતાના ડાંસથી જાણીતુ કર્યું છે.

પણ અત્યાર સુધી ડાન્સ આધારીત મુવી બનતી નહોતી. જાણીતા કોરીયોગ્રાફર રેમો ડિસુઝાએ ABCD મુવીથી ડાન્સ આધારીત મુવીની શરુઆત કરી. “સ્ટ્રીટ ડાન્સર” આ શ્રેણીની ત્રીજી મુવી છે જેમાં ટી – સીરીઝ પણ પ્રોડ્યુસર બન્યા છે.

અગાઉની ફિલ્મોની જેમ જ ધર્મેશ યેલાંડે, પુનીત શુક્લા, રાઘવ પોતાના ડાંસથી લોકોને મંત્રમુગ્ધ કરશે. વર્તીકા ઝા, સુશાંત ખત્રી, સુશાંત પુજારી, સલમાન, સનમ વગેરે જેવા રિયાલીટી ડાંસ શોના કલાકારો પણ આ મુવીમાં શામિલ છે.

પણ મુખ્ય કલાકારો છે વરૂણ ધવન, શ્રધ્ધા અને પ્રભુદેવા. ભારત – પાકિસ્તાનની ટીમ વચ્ચે થતી ડાંસની ટક્કર પરની થીમ લઈને રેમોએ મુવી બનાવી છે. સચીન – જિગરનું સંગીત હંમેશની જેમ મુવીને અનુરુપ છે.

ડાન્સના શોખીનોને આ મુવી નિરાશ નહીં કરે.

Movie Preview Tanhaji – गढ आला पन सिंह गेला!

After a long long time Ajay Devgn and Saif are facing each other in an epic battle (who can forget  Omkara). Tanhaji is directed by Om Raut who debuted with his critically acclaimed as well as a successful Marathi movie. There are so many reasons to watch this movie. Ajay’s powerful performance especially through his eyes. Saif as an antagonist. Kajol is back.Dialogues by Prakash Kapadia (Devdas, Black, Bajirao Mastani) and never say die spirit of Marathas.

Background music seems engaging. 

Tanhaji is made on a large scale with budget of approx 150 Cr. It contains all essence to be Hit.

તાનાજી માલુસારે. શિવાજી મહારાજના આ વીર સેનાપતિને લોકો સિંહગઢના યુધ્ધથી જાણે છે. કોંઢાણાના કિલ્લાને ફતેહ કરવા એમણે જાનની બાજી લગાવી દીધેલી.

તાનાજીના કિરદારમાં અજય દેવગન ઓતપ્રોત છે એ કહેવામાં કોઈ અતિશયોક્તિ લાગતી નથી, જ્યારે ઉદયભાણના પાત્રમાં સૈફ અલી ખાન એટલો જ ખતરનાક લાગે છે. ફિલ્મના સેટ પણ ભવ્ય છે. ઓમ રાઉત આ ફિલ્મના નિર્દેશક છે અને બોલીવુડમાં કદમ માંડી રહ્યા છે. કાજોલને આ ફિલ્મમાં જોવી ગમશે. ફિલ્મનું સંગીત અને બેક ગ્રાઉન્ડ એકદમ જાનદાર છે. ૨૦૨૦ની આ સૌ પ્રથમ સુપર ડુપર હીટ ફિલ્મ હશે.
